What is the check-in and check-out process?

We offer secure a check-in and check-out process where parents and children are verified using name tags and a unique code that only parents have access to. Nursery aged children may be checked-in up to 15 minutes before the service. All other children join us in the worship service for our first singing time. Children are then dismissed to their classes during the sermon. Parents pick their children up after receiving communion and bring them back into the service for our final time of singing.

What training do the volunteers receive?

All of our volunteers go through an initial screening process including a background check before they can serve. They also complete a child safety training course as well as receiving ongoing training and instruction from our Kids Ministry Team. All of our servants are members of the church and many of them are our Moms, Dads, Brothers, and Sisters!

What does the Kids time look like?

While each week is unique, our general schedule is as follows: Kids begin with singing together during music time. Next, they move onto a large group Bible story time. Afterward they break into smaller groups where they engage in age appropriate activities and discussion. Finally, there is a small snack (goldfish) and free play until parents check them out.
