Josh and his wife Esther are both originally from Beaumont and moved back in 2014 to plant Sojourn. Josh holds degrees from Lamar University, Southwestern Seminary and Southern Seminar. He enjoys watching and playing sports, bike riding, guitar, backpacking and hiking, and reading. Josh also currently teaches Historical Theology and Logic at Veritas Classical Academy in Beaumont. The Jeans have 4 children: Silas, Henry, Eden, and Abel.

Micah and his wife Madison both are originally from the Midwest; Micah from Iowa and Madison from Michigan. They moved to Beaumont in June 2022, where Micah serves as the Director of Outreach at Sojourn. Micah is leading our college ministry with students in the Beaumont area, as well as our Sunday morning Connect team, along with running our social media and website. Micah has his Bachelor’s Degree from Iowa State University (Roll Clones), and recently graduated with his Masters in Theological Studies from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Micah enjoys spending time with family and friends, hosting people for meals and gatherings, watching and playing sports, taking in a good movie, and exploring the great outdoors. The Hales’ have one child, a son named Beau.

Alli serves as the assistant to the lead pastor, helping by organizing events, leading the bookstore and merch table on Sundays, and being an extra set of hands whenever needed. She became a member of Sojourn in 2018 after getting connected through the college ministry. Ali married her husband James in 2022 and they now live in Beaumont.
