Why Membership
Being a member is your way of saying, “I'm all in. You can count on me.”
It's also the best way to tell Sojourn's pastors, “I want your prayers, your counsel, your teaching, and your godly examples.”
If a church requires nothing of you as a member, and commits nothing to you as a church, it is practicing meaningless membership. Membership at Sojourn is a commitment to our family, and a commitment from our family and pastors to you.
How It Works
Step 01
The first step to becoming a member at Sojourn, or simply learning more about what we believe, is to attend one of our membership classes. To sign up for our next class, register on our Events page.
Step 02
Following membership class, you'll be invited to meet with a Sojourn leader. Don't be intimidated; this is simply a time for us to get to know you and your story a little better, and a chance for you to ask any questions you have about Sojourn.
Step 03
Your interviewer will help you take any next steps needed to finalize your membership. That may mean signing the membership covenant and taking a next step in serving, community, and giving, or walking through any additional requirements, such as baptism.
